American Banjo Museum

In the historic Bricktown neighborhood of Oklahoma City, you’ll find the world’s largest collection of banjos on display at the American Banjo Museum.

It’s a neat building with bright displays and beautiful instruments everywhere. The museum is “high-tech” as well, with options to scan bar codes next to most banjos for more information about each piece.

Bill spent the morning with the museum’s director Johnny Baier and learned about the history of the banjo and the interesting history of the museum itself.
