Loved this visit to the Gerald Ford Presidential Museum in Grand Rapids!

Gerald Ford was the 28th President of the United States.  While his time in office may not bring up the typical partisan love or hatred, the time surrounding Ford’s Presidency is certainly important to remember.   The resignation of Richard Nixon made Ford the first person in history to be Vice President & then President – without ever being elected to office.

The museum includes interesting pieces from Ford’s time in office, including a cue card he read from when being inaugurated.  Also all of the correspondence and speeches used when pardoning Richard Nixon.
