Fort McHenry In Baltimore


If you paid attention in history class, you know that Baltimore is the birthplace of the National Anthem – The Star Spangled Banner.  In this high energy interview with Park Ranger Vince Vase – we find out why the Fort was so important in American history and also how the war of 1812 started a re-birth of what we now know as the American flag.

The original Star Spangled Banner (the actual flag) is on display at the American History Museum in Washington DC.
