In Pictures: Hyland Park – Rochester, NY

I asked the young lady at our hotel in downtown Rochester where I could get a good look at Fall colors.  She suggested I check out a place called Hyland Park.  Needless to say – her suggestion turned out to be one of my favorite stops on my entire road trip through the state of New York.

What a  beautiful green space smack dab in the middle of town!  It was a clear, sunny Sunday afternoon and there were families playing, couples walking and even brides taking photos.  One guy even stood under a tree and sang Neil Diamond songs with his guitar.

For me – it was checking out the colors of Fall – something people have always talked about in upstate New York.  You can judge for yourself but I thought the images were breathtaking.
